Keyboard shortcuts in the desktop app

The shortcuts in this topic refer to the US keyboard layout. Keys for other layouts might not correspond exactly to the keys on a US keyboard. A plus sign (+) in a shortcut means that you need to press multiple keys simultaneously. A comma sign (,) in a shortcut means you must pressmultiple keys in order. You can easily access the keyboard shortcuts list from within Microsoft Teams. Press “Ctrl+E” in the desktop app or “Ctrl+Alt+E” in the web app to go to the Search field, type /keys, and then press Enter.

Note: If you’re using the default app bar configuration in the Microsoft Teams desktop app, use the commands in the table below. If you’ve changed the order of your apps or added additional apps, the command depends on the app’s sequential order on the app bar. For example, if you’ve moved Calendar to the top of the app bar, press Ctrl+1 to open it, not Ctrl+4. To view the keyboard shortcuts for your current configuration, press Ctrl+E in the desktop app, or Ctrl+Alt+E in the web app. Togo the Search field, type /keys, and press Enter.

Note: If you are a Mac user, please replace Ctrl with Command, and most of the above should be functional.
